Praise and Prayer Brings Deliverance

Psalm 40:1-3 (NLT) I waited patiently for the LORD to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the LORD.

*The trials we experience in our lives purify and strengthen us. Trials to us are what fire is to the gold purification process. As for me, I have learned not to complain when I suffer or go through difficult times because change comes when I count my blessings and praise God for them all. I know no matter how great a storm of any kind is, it cannot last forever. It is my prayer that I do not complain against people or empower the devil by saying he cause it. The devil cannot do anything without God's permission to test me or anyone he comes against.
