God, Our Creator, Our Savior

We are living in times when there seem to be a constant struggle for power and greatness. Generations come and go and the struggle remains; fueled by fear, half-truths, hate, and divisiveness. We have seemingly forgotten whose we are and where our lives began. God is our Father, our Creator, our Savior, our Hope, our Peace, our Comfort, and our Provider. I believe and trust in God Almighty, the One true living God who is the maker of heaven and earth and all things seen and unseen. The only authority man has is that which is given to him by God. It is written, “While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape”. Man speaks of peace but war and oppression is in his heart. We must rely on the infinite compassion,mercy, wisdom, righteousness, goodness, and love of God to save us from the destruction of man.

Proverbs 16:4-6 (ESV)

The Lord has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble. Everyone who is arrogant in heart is an abomination to the Lord; be assured, he will not go unpunished. By steadfast love and faithfulness iniquity is atoned for, and by the fear of the Lord one turns away from evil.
