Feeling Alone While Suffering And Sad

You can be assured, no one is exempt from suffering and sadness; saint or sinner, saved or unsaved, rich or poor, young or old. There is nothing strange or unfamiliar about it, trials and tribulations, sorrows and sadness visit everyone at some point in time. But what makes suffering more intense and seemingly unbearable is the aloneness one experiences. You reflect on the times when things were well with you and the thought of trial, sadness, and sorrows were nowhere in the horizon of your mind. After all, going through storms and the fallout from them is not something anyone would choose for themselves or anyone else. We can find comfort in knowing, God will use whatever we are going through for our good; even if it seems tragic at the time. Sometimes we are without every comfort and alone, but please remember, there is hope and restoration! Weeping endures for the night, but joy comes in the morning…even when it seems the darkness will never end. There is Comfort, Joy, and Peace in time.

1 Peter 5:10-11(ERV)

Yes, you will suffer for a short time. But after that, God will make everything right. He will make you strong. He will support you and keep you from falling. He is the God who gives all grace. He chose you to share in his glory in Christ. That glory will continue forever. All power is his forever. Amen.
