Going Through Hardships and Suffering (Blog)

There are times when we are in the midst of trials we seemingly forget that we are going through it, it will not last forever no matter how it ends. Remember, hardships and suffering are only momentary afflictions to test our faith and to confirm we are really children of God. By coping with suffering and challenges with prayer and thanksgiving we endure with valor and become stronger in our faith. One thing for sure, we are going to be tried in the fire but we will not be burned or consumed. We will be purified like gold; we will be cleansed and made strong. To God be the glory for he is with us, carrying us when we are weak…we can rejoice in our suffering knowing that we can find comfort in the word of God. For the benefit to those who believe, hold on; suffering and hardships prepares us for the next life after this one is over. It refines us, it melts and molds us as it shapes us into the image of Christ Jesus. Be encouraged, we have a Comforter; the Holy Spirit is with all those who receive all that the Spirit offers. Weeping endures for the night but joy comes in the morning!

Isaiah 41:9-10 (NLT) I have called you back from the ends of the earth, saying, ‘You are my servant.’ For I have chosen you and will not throw you away. Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.
