A Time For Sorrow And Grief
There are times and seasons when everyone will surely experience sadness, sorrow, and grief. Even those who trust and obey God encounter painful situations. They experience losses of many kinds and they do not escape heartaches and heart breaks. Sometimes the magnitude of the suffering seems immeasurable and unbearable. Not only do we wonder why these things come upon us, but we ask, “ God why?” The reality of it all is, God spared not his own Son, therefore, I can only say, “Who am I that I would be spared suffering”. God is all-merciful and caring…he has given us the Comforter; the Holy Spirit to comfort us. All those who believe have hope, they will not weep as the world weeps because they have comfort, healing, and restoration. There is a time of Sorrow, A season of sorrow, blessings of sorrow and a witness of sorrow. God will turn sadness, sorrow and grief into celebration and praise.
Revelation 21:3-4 (NLT)
I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow, or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”
