God’s Mercy Is Great

In my quest for an extreme makeover for my soul, I ventured deep within as I search the word of God for clarification and confirmation of his purpose and plan for my life. I am acutely aware I cannot do anything on my own...I need the Lord to transform me. My makeover began when God justified me through faith in Christ Jesus, freeing me and all who believe from our past, securing our present and future. It is all about what God does, not what I do; he has given me and all who believe eternal life. He alone leads and guides us by the Holy Spirit, if we follow.

Ephesians 2:4-5 (ESV)

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace, you have been saved—

Each day, I walk the path before me by grace and the strength given to me by God with gratitude and fortitude.
