Alone, But Never Alone
We are living in a world where people are dying for like of kindness, caring, meaningful conversations, and love. People are like animals, plants, or a newborn baby…they need attention to thrive and excel.
Have you ever felt lost in a crowd or invisible when you were at work, or at a social gathering, or home with your family? Do you get the feeling that everyone is always too busy or too tired to share time and space or even care about what happened during the day? Do you feel devalued or unworthy? Is there any wonder you feel alone and abandoned or like an outcast?
There are times when you feel alone and empty, even though you are in constant contact with people who only see you smile or hear your laughter. It seems no one really wants to know how you feel or what you think…they want to keep it superficial. It is a beautiful thing to have a friend who encourages you when your heart is broken and you are shedding tears.
We must remember, we are never alone no matter where we are and what we are going through. God knows our thoughts, he even knows how we feel. There are lessons and blessings in every life experience. There is no reason the lessons must be so hard other than we do not listen. We cannot move forward until we get it. Be guided by the Holy Spirit into all truths.
John 14:16-18 (NLT)
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you. No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you.
