Lord, I Come To You!

Each morning I rise, I kneel for a while, then I sit down to spend time with the Lord. There is no other way to start the day. I know I can talk to God, who never grows weary, he is never too busy and never too far away. Oh, yes, I do not need an appointment. I can go to him in prayer anytime and any place. God is so caring, faithful, and merciful… I just want to thank God for all he has done for me as I bask in his glory. In his presence I find, peace, forgiveness, joy, hope, guidance, and strength. Whenever I am unsure about anything, I search his word, the Bible, it is my GPS for solutions and directions. I am so thankful and privileged to be able to go to God with the absolute assurance he will answer. I refuse to listen to nay-sayers; I believe, I believe! I don’t mind waiting, in fact; I anticipate an answer…Yes! And Amen!

Show me your faithful love this morning. I trust in you. Show me what I should do. I put my life in your hands! Lord, I come to you for protection. Save me from my enemies.
