God, Our Father, The Creator

As I look out at the ocean, I think about how God merely spoke and created heaven and earth. He spoke everything into existence; what power! He commanded, let there be and whatever he commanded stood firm. No one can speak and it happens unless God allows it. Everything that exists is a declaration of God’s power and presence. It is written: By him all things were created in the heavens and earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions, rulers or authorities…all things were created by him and for him; even those who are evil. He is in charge and holds everything together. God reigns and he will be glorified!

The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard. Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world.
