Thankful For Forgiveness
We are living in times when anger, hate, and unforgiveness makes it impossible to love unconditionally. Despite everything that goes on in the world around me, I choose to love, be thankful, and forgive so I can live forgiven. Unforgiveness and hate are bitterroots that grow profusely in the hearts and minds of mankind. The by-product of the profuse overgrowth is: violence, hatred, murder, and a laundry list of malicious acts. Without forgiveness, there is no gratitude for all that is given to us and without gratitude, there is no compassion; we can never see the good in anyone or anything. Forgiveness and gratitude bring love, joy, peace, compassion, and patience. Live mindfully by the word and with a thankful heart and the Holy Spirit will lead and guide you into the fullness of all God has for you.
Colossians 2:7-8 (NCV)
Keep your roots deep in him and have your lives built on him. Be strong in the faith, just as you were taught, and always be thankful. Be sure that no one leads you away with false and empty teaching that is only human, which comes from the ruling spirits of this world, and not from Christ.
