Father, You Keep Proving Yourself

There are numerous assurances and confirmations that God will take care of us in His word. God knows what we need and everything we desire. No good thing will he withhold from those who walk uprightly; he is the light, life, and protector. He alone grants favor, grace and glory. We usually turn to God when we want something but God wants us to bring all our cares and concerns to Him. In truth, he wants you to come to him for your spiritual and emotional needs also. Let us seek him while he may be found. We may not live where we want to live when we want to live there but we have a place to live, we may not have what we want to eat but we have food, we may not wear designer clothing but we do have clothing and that job may not be all you desire it to be but in these harsh economic times you are blessed when you have a job. God will bring you out of hard trials and lack if you trust and obey him, that is his promise.

Luke 12:22-26 (NIV)

“Therefore, I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn, yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?
