Seasons of Suffering And Rebirth

No one is exempt from suffering, in fact, there is a time and season of suffering. We all must go through something in order to grow spiritually. Everyone suffers in this life, even those who do no know or accept Christ. Those who come to saving faith, professing Christ as Lord and Savior had better expect suffering and trials. Trials are not an illustration of how strong our faith is, as much it reveals commitment and fidelity to God. Therefore, whenever I experience grief, pain, and sorrows; I never ask why me. As strange as it may seem to some, I realize it a necessary part of living. God is all-merciful and beneficent to even the worst offenders, sinners, and those who have no respect for people, property, or the law. God extends his grace daily, tempered with tender mercy and he leads and guides us by his Spirit into all comfort, peace, and truth as he restores our souls.

1 Peter 5:6-8 (NLT)

So, humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.
