Praying For One Another (Blog)
Praying is an essential element in our walk with the Lord. The all-sufficient grace of Christ Jesus is poured out on us daily. When we go to the Lord Jesus in secret we experience his supernatural refreshing, healing, restoration and the ability to overcome whatever comes our way. We are instructed to pray for others so that we may be healed and stand strong in our faith. It is through prayer that we receive the mercy, strength, and power that we need; Jesus knows our weaknesses. It is by our words and prayers that we make our request known to God in the name of Jesus. We are also taught to pray for our enemies; we bless those who curse us and misuse us. We are to do good to those who hate us and persecute us. We reflect the presence of God in our lives as we show others the love and mercy God has shown us.

Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.
