Speak To Me, Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit, speak to me day and night, direct me and protect me while you teach me all truth. Let me see the good in all things and all people.

I am certain you have a plan and purpose for everything and everyone. O' My Father, bless the good that is me and all humanity.

Holy Spirit, speak to me as I go forth through this day. Show me the way to live in harmony with others no matter who they are or what their lot in life may be. Help me remember, it could be me.

Transform our hearts and minds so we move from blame, shame, games, and judgment to understanding without fear. Surround us with your perfect love, joy, peace and compassion while we walk the path before us daily, remembering it is nice to be nice. Let us show compassion and love for everyone, especially those who are marginalized and without hope.

I realize there is a difference between compassion and pity...kindness and respect cost nothing, but can net a great reward. Help us remember why we are here. After all, our journey here on earth is really a short stay, compared to eternity, even if one lives a hundred years. I sense of time and space is very shallow; but with the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.
