Be Kind To Those Who Are Unkind
Abba Father, My God In Whom I Trust, I rise to this day with gratitude and praise for divine protection, provision, and peace. I thank You, for the privilege to begin again in You. I am so thankful for a reasonable portion of good health and strength, for a sound mind, so I can discern and know the truth. Father, we are living in times when so many people are consumed with greed and hatred. They seem to be without conscious as they rob, steal, kill, and destroy others and what they are entrusted with while they live. Help us to live in a manner whereas we learn to love ourselves, so, we can love our neighbors as we love ourselves. Let there be a time of refreshing and renewal by Your grace. Father, teach us and empower us to love our enemies, do good to those who hate us, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who abuse and try to oppress us. Open the eyes and hearts of those who do not see or understand how a lack of love and compassion coupled with greed and an insatiable thirst for power is the root cause of the condition of the world today. Awaken them to the truth, that if we say we are Your children, then, we must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness; instead of blatant lies to gain the favor of man. Father, I ask You in the name of Jesus Christ, let me be all You created me to be, so that I may find favor in Your sight. Please give me strength and the determination to walk the Path of Life, being gentle to others who hate me and are malicious. I realize meekness is not weakness, it is being strong, with self-control not weak as one would think of weakness. It is active, not passive; courageous, not timid; restrained, not excessive; modest, not self-aggrandizing; and gracious, not brash. Your word tells me, “If I forgive other people when they sin against me, My heavenly Father will also forgive me. But if I do not forgive others their sins, then You will not forgive my sins.” Therefore, I am confident that a gentle heart comes from having love for others and trusting You to care for us. So, I ask You, Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, let Your Spirit, guide me, and empower me to be graceful and humble as I continue this journey called life demonstrating that it is nice to be nice, and meekness is not weakness but strength under control by the power of the Holy Spirit who will give me strength to be still and know You alone are God our Sole Provider and Shepherd. Hallelujah! Amen! Proverbs 12: 24-25; 15:4ESV: The hand of the diligent will rule, while the slothful will be put to forced labor. Anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad. A gentle tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit. 1 Corinthians 13:4-6 ESV: Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Grand Rising Everyone! Please Remember, “Live on purpose with purpose and the awareness that Meekness tames the temper, subdues the self, calms the passions, and brings order out of chaos in the soul.” Meekness calms, soothes, and subdues. It is God’s desire for us to be kind to one another at all times. We have been chosen to do well for and be well to our sisters and brothers. Kind words can heal the heart and mind, and be food for a hungry soul. "A man who is kind benefits himself, but a cruel man hurts himself." Have an Amazing life! Abundant blessings!
