Be Still In The Presence Of The Lord
Be Still In The Presence Of The Lord
Our Father, My God, I rise to this day with gratitude, Joy, and praise, to You for being my sanctuary, my refuge, my strength, my joy, hope, and peace. I am thankful that I can always be still with the awareness that You are the infinite source of everything I need, want, and desire under grace with no sorrow added. Father, I realize if I get caught up in the chaotic web of the world where there is so much fear, greed, hatred, and ungodliness of every kind, I like so many may forget the earth and all its fullness belong to You. Father, I ask You, in the name of Jesus Christ, let me remember to find a quiet place, and go into my Secret Closet where there is no noise so I can feel Your comfort and presence as I receive the peace You promised me. Let me be still and relax in You, remembering all the times You helped me, my family, my loved ones, and other people down through the years. I am acutely aware You promised to deliver us, to provide for us, and never forsake us; I trust You completely and rest upon Your strength. Therefore, it truly does not matter how much we gather or store, I know that we brought nothing into this world and when we leave, we will take nothing; even the grave clothing will remain. It is written, “Naked, without possessions we came into this world from our mother's womb, and naked we will return to the Giver of Life. It is You, O LORD who gives us life, good health, and wealth, and You can and will take it away. So, while I am here walking the Path of Life, Father, I ask You in the name of Jesus Christ, to empower me to stop paying attention to all the noise, the bad news, the political rhetoric, and the storms that seem to be so pervasive and destructive. Let me stay the course You have set before me with integrity and love as You lead me, guide me, and teach me according to Your will and Your Word. I continue this journey through life, in the name of Jesus Christ, being guided by Your Spirit, as I receive more of Your divine joy, that makes me and all those who look to You more faithful and loving like You. Thank You, Hallelujah, Amen!
1 Samuel 12:15-16 ESV: But if you will not obey the voice of the Lord, but rebel against the commandment of the Lord, then the hand of the Lord will be against you and your king. Now, therefore, stand still and see this great thing that the Lord will do before your eyes. Psalm 62:5-6 NLT: Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken. James 5:7-8 NLT: Dear brothers and sisters, be patient as you wait for the Lord’s return. Consider the farmers who patiently wait for the rains in the fall and in the spring. They eagerly look for the valuable harvest to ripen. You, too, must be patient. Take courage, for the coming of the Lord is near.
Grand Rising! Good Morning to you on this blessed day. Remember, “ The Quieter You become, the better You can and will hear the Spirit speak. Wait upon God, and feel His good presence; this will carry you. Practice being still and quiet before the Lord. Just sit in His presence, bask in His glory, breathe, and focus on Him. Meditate on Him and think about His goodness and tender mercies. There is so much noise in your life and the world at large. Just steal away, and allow God to quiet all of the chaos and all of the idols. Be still and realize, that He is the only One that matters. God is faithful and will restore your soul. “Do not be afraid. Just stand still and watch the LORD rescue you today. Abundant blessings, have an amazing day!
FYI: Prayer is free. So was the word of God until man transcribed it from the scrolls putting their own twist on it, then it became for sale; this displeases God. We do know right from wrong whether we do it or not, God put it in our hearts before we were born. Please share with those who are open to receiving the word of our Lord and Savior, the way of salvation, and all of God’s blessings.
