Be Victorious With God’s Help

Abba Father, My God Who is Eternal and Faithful to keep Your Word, I rise to this day to worship, honor and praise You with a repentant heart overflowing with gratitude and joy for the privilege to kneel in Your Presence one more time. Thank You, Father, for watching over me while I slumbered and slept in a place where I know not, yet, You kept me safe and made death behave. I am acutely aware that You did not have to wake me up this morning, but You did because my work on Earth is not done. Therefore, I ask You, Father, “What am I to do this day?” Where am I to go and what am I to say? O Lord, my Savior, please show me the way and empower me to do all that I am created to do with compassion, integrity, joyfully, and mindfully with love. Let Your will be done in me and through me. Father, as I ponder the state of the world, all the hate, disunity, and blatant lies that fuel hate and more contention and thoughts of supremacy, and murdering, I realize we need You now more than ever to protect us and liberate us from the webs that are constantly woven by those in power, the very ones who supposed to be working for the best interest of everyone, not just a select few. Father, I know You are mighty and able to save us. You are my Refuge and Strength, my Shepherd, my Supply, my Rock and Chain-Breaker. I am confident that Your arm is not too short, and neither are You unequipped to deliver us from evil and evil-doers. Thank You, Father, for going before me and being with me and never leaving me nor forsaking me. I refuse to be overcome by fear or to be discouraged no matter how much economic oppression and social injustice proliferate in the world…I trust You and the plan that You have for my life. Your Word tells me, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present my requests to You. Therefore, I bring my petitions with all my cares and concerns to You and leave them, never to be troubled with them anymore. And the peace that You give me will transcend all understanding, will guard my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus.” I continue this journey called life, in the name of Jesus Christ, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, believing You will help and save me and all those for whom I pray. Thank You, Lord, for ordering our steps. Hallelujah! Amen!

Isaiah 40:28-31 ESV: Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted, but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. James 4:7 NIV: Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
