Bribery and Corruption In High Places

Abba Father, My God, Our Creator, The Lord of lords, King of kings, I bow before the Throne of Mercy, knowing You are the Highest God, there is no other god like You who can give sustainable life and justice. There is no one like You who is most gracious, kind, just, righteous, loving, truthful, and faithful. I look to You for all that I need and desire, knowing You promised to supply all that I need and desire under grace for my good and the good of others and the earth. Father, we are living in times when the law-makers are law-breakers who face no real consequences themselves; therefore, I look to You, O Lord, to defend those who cannot defend themselves. There is no justice in the land because justice has been perverted, and is for sale and so is religion. Your Word clearly tells us not to distort justice or show partiality to anyone for any reason, nor are we to take bribes because a bribe blinds the eyes of the unwise and subvert the cause of those who are right. Without impartial justice for all, it is impossible for humankind to live according to Your will and receive all that You have planned for us. Father, I better understand why those who profess Christ have a moral responsibility to defend those who cannot defend themselves. Empower those who love and trust You to do the right thing, especially those who govern. Let those of us who believe understand that when humankind imposes laws that conflict with Your Word, we must live according to Your Word. We are living in times when the enemy and his cohorts distort Your word by running a thread of truth through lies to create methods of deception and misinformation. I am thankful that You can and will scatter the plans of all the nations who oppose You and Your plan for us will stand forever. I realize that Your intentions are the same for every generation. So, I wait for You to keep every promise that You have ever made to all humankind. I continue this journey called life, in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking guidance and direction from the Holy Spirit, believing that You, Almighty God, will protect us, provide for us, and show us how to live in spirit and truth with integrity for Your glory and the good of humanity and the earth. Let us be like You, so we take no bribes, nor will we align ourselves with the wicked. Lord, please deliver us from evil and evil-doers. Thank You. Hallelujah! Amen!

Be aware of the wolves in sheep’s clothing who pervert the word of God to enrich themselves. Some of the elect have been deceived, study for yourself because all who preach are not called.
