Discernment And Judging
Discernment and Judging
Our Father, My God, My Lord, I rise to this day with gratitude and praise, with the awareness that the earth, O Lord, is full of Your Lovingkindness and Your goodness. I ask You, Almighty God, in the name of Jesus Christ, to teach me more about You and Your Will as I walk the Path of Life abiding in You with discernment, without judgment, and with integrity and compassion. You are more than good to me, so I ask You, please bridle my tongue, and keep me from saying or doing things that do not please You because those words and things corrupt my heart. So, I ask You, Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, please empower me so that no corrupt talk comes out of my mouth. Let only that which is good for the encouragement of others, as it fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. Father, You are so good to me, my family, and all those for whom I pray. You have dealt with us according to Your plans and promises for our lives. Father, I also ask You to teach us good judgment, the ability to discern and know the truth, coupled with knowledge because I believe in You, I rely on Your promises, and I trust Your wisdom and great love for us. Father, You know we all have sinned and fallen short of Your glory; we went astray, looking to those for answers and help who cannot even help or sustain themselves. forgive us Lord and make us whole and keep us in the palm of Your hand where no one can remove us. I ask You, in the name of Jesus Christ, to hold us close and keep us as the apple of Your eye as we honor You first, always abiding in You and doing Your will. Father, Your Word reminds us that You show no partiality, and You take no bribes. Let me have self-control and focus on whatever is constructive and beneficial to others and for Your glory. I continue this journey through life with the assurance that You judge people only on whether we follow You or their father, Satan. So, I ask You to let me see the world through Your eyes of love, with the ability to discern the truth without judging others, instead of evaluating them based on human standards that mean absolutely nothing to You because You are impartial to their false perceptions and stereotypes and thoughts of supremacy. Thank You, Lord, hallelujah! Amen!
Proverbs 3:34-35 NLT: The Lord mocks the mockers but is gracious to the humble. The wise inherit honor, but fools are put to shame! Proverbs 21:2 ESV: Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the heart.Ecclesiastes 12:14 ESV: For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil.
Grand Rising! Good Morning to you on this blessed day. Remember, “Learn the difference between “judging” and discernment. The difference is primarily the motive of the heart. The motive in “judging” is pride, and self-exaltation. The motive in discernment is humility and love. Never forget to search carefully and considerately for the distinction God makes between what is good and what is evil, between what is right according to His Word, and what is wrong also according to His Word is the necessary pursuit that gains what is best for all of us. Self-censorship may be seen as weak and undesirable by this world, but it is a very necessary part of us renouncing “ungodliness and worldly passions.” Let the Spirit of God guide you because Jesus never forced anyone to believe or do the right thing. Life is about faith, love, hope, intent, and choices. Abundant blessings, have an amazing day!
FYI: Prayer is free. So was the word of God until man transcribed it from the scrolls putting their own twist on it, then it became for sale; this displeases God. We do know right from wrong whether we do it or not, God put it in our hearts before we were born. Please share with those who are open to receiving the word of our Lord and Savior, the way of salvation, and all of God’s blessings. Wednesday, November 1, 2023.
