Discord And Disunity

Abba Father, The God Is Peace, Jehovah Shalom, I am thankful for Your presence in every aspect of my life. Father, I am thankful that with You as my Refuge and my Fortress, I am at peace because You are with me. I will not allow anyone to sow seeds of discord and disunity in my life. I trust You and Your Word. Therefore, I am complete, anxiety is absent, I am not brokenhearted, I am not easily shaken, and I am at peace because You are my Sole Provider, my shield and protector. I understand the enemy will use anyone to cause conflict and cause discord and disunity, especially in the family, the church, the workplace, and the government. Your word tells me that a dishonest person spreads strife, and a whisperer separates close friends. Father, I ask You in the name of Jesus Christ, to open the eyes and understanding of those who are blind and cannot see through the veil of lies, and ears but they cannot hear, nor do they understand that they have been deceived by the enemy who is busy trying to destroy Your people and families with crooked speech with promises of more power, greater prosperity, and more possessions. The enemy has divided families, churches, governments, and nations. Father, I ask You in the name of Jesus Christ to bridle my tongue and keep me from speaking evil of anyone. Empower me to walk in wisdom toward others, especially outsiders, being aware that I do not know their story, and always make the best use of the time You have given me. Let my speech always be gracious, empowering, and mindful, always listening more than I speak so I will know how to answer each person, instead of answering on hearsay and the daily news. Father, I also ask You, in the name of Jesus Christ, to guide me by Your Spirit. Let me be mindful of those who cause division, discord, and disunity, and create obstacles contrary to Your Word. Then let me avoid them and look to Your Word for the solution to the situation. Let me speak evil of no one, avoid quarreling, be gentle, and show perfect courtesy toward all people, not just a select few. Hallelujah, amen!

Proverbs 6:12-20 ESV: A worthless person, a wicked man, goes about with crooked speech, winks with his eyes, signals with his feet, points with his finger, with perverted heart devises evil, continually sowing discord; therefore, calamity will come upon him suddenly; in a moment he will be broken beyond healing. There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.

Grand Rising! Good Morning, Good Day to you on this blessed day. Remember, the bible tells us to, “Avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless. As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him, knowing that such a person is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned.” In the world today divisive tactics seem to be a way of life.
