Father, Let Your Spirit Keep Me Focused On You

Abba Father, My God, I rise to this day with a repentant heart overflowing with gratitude and praise for the privilege to honor and worship You all the days of my life…thank You for Your unfailing love. Father, I ask You, in the name of Jesus Christ, to always hold me, my family, and all those for whom I pray close and guide us by Your Spirit into all truth as we continue this journey on earth by faith wearing the whole armor. My home is marked by the Blood of Jesus, let my family be covered no matter where they are; bless their going out and their coming in and keep their minds on You. Father, You are my God, my Refuge and my Fortress, my healer, my deliverer, my sole provider, and my salvation. So, I ask You, Lord, let Your Spirit keep me focused on whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, and if anything is excellent or praiseworthy…please, Lord, let me always think on these things. Father, I am thankful nothing can touch me, or any believer without permission from You. So, I ask in the name of Christ Jesus, when we are tested give us the power to rebuke Satan and his cohorts with the Word, always pleading and applying the Blood of Jesus which no evil can withstand. Let me stay confident and focused, so I will fulfill the plans You have for me. Let me live in You, unafraid, always being at peace as I do the things You created me to do with compassion, love, and integrity. Let me stay focused on You and the truth, “You love me, and You will prepare the way for me, You will defeat my enemies, so I can walk in the light worthy of the calling on my life. Let me always be mindful of what I do and say, so all that I do is done for Your glory. Lord, empower me to stay focused on You and Your promises, so all my dragons and goliaths are slain, my mountains move, my deserts become fertile grounds, and my Jericho Walls crumble into rubble; in Jesus Christ’s name, I ask and give thanks for all that is given to me under grace and for Your glory. Hallelujah! Amen!

Hebrews 12:1-2 ESV: Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder, and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
