Father, My Soul Desires You

Abba Father, Adonai, My Lord and Master, I rise to this day thanking You and praising You for watching over me through the night and waking me up with my mind on You. Father, I belong to You, it is my first desire to do Your will, so, I ask You, Almighty God, in the name of Jesus Christ, show me the path I am to walk this day, doing the things You created me to do for Your glory. My soul thirsts for You even more during this season in my life. The world has become more like Sodom and Gomorrah, right is called wrong, and wrong is called right. I ask You, please empower me to do Your will with absolute obedience and integrity. O Lord from whom the breath of life and all provisions come, please open my eyes and my understanding so all that I do aligns with Your plan and purpose for my life and for Your glory. Strengthen me and all those for whom I pray to keep their focus on You as they seek Your face. I am certain that Your plan is the best plan for me, my family, and humanity. Father, I also ask You, to grant me the wisdom to know the truth and be free from things and people that will derail my destiny…my true purpose. As I ponder the state of the world and all the divisions, I sometimes find myself without words. Father, I do not understand how anyone can say they Love You, call You Lord; and hate, rob, steal and slaughter another person. Nor do I understand the duality in what they call justice or their economic standards. While I am here in this place where we meet, I ask You, O Lord, to forgive them for all the evil that they do to cause disunity and oppression of the poor and working-class people. So, I ask You, in the name of Jesus Christ, for the divine intervention of the Holy Spirit in all my cares and concerns for which I have no words. Read my heart, You know me better than I know myself, and You know my intentions. I am standing on Your promises with confidence that You are my Shepherd, You will care for me no matter where I go or what the day may bring…You are my supply; thank You for being the bread and fountain of life. Therefore, I shall always be provided for and guided by Your Spirit. I am thankful I shall never be hungry or thirsty because I believe every promise You have ever made to me and all those who believe in You. Hallelujah! Amen!

Deuteronomy 8:3 NLT: Yes, he humbled you by letting you go hungry and then feeding you with manna, a food previously unknown to you and your ancestors. He did it to teach you that people do not live by bread alone; rather, we live by every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD. Psalm 63:1-3 NIV: You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. John 6:33-35 NIV: For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” “Sir,” they said, “always give us this bread.” Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

Grand Rising Everyone! Please Remember, “Stand on the promises of our Lord and Master. It does not matter how bad things appear to be, God is greater and more powerful than those who come against you.” Delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
