Give Thanks To The Lord

Abba Father, The God of All Grace, I rise to this day humbled by Your presence in my life. I thank and praise You knowing I have numerous reasons to be thankful and I can never thank You enough because You are always so good to me. This is not to say that I do not go through many difficulties in my life, but I am so blessed because even amid sorrows and losses; You are with me. I am thankful that You are a forgiving and loving God of all Grace who is most beneficent. You show me favor, You so graciously care for me, my family, my loved ones, and all those for whom I pray. I am thankful that I have learned to be thankful in all circumstances, always giving thanks for every life experience, the good, the perceived bad, and what the world may call ugly. As I ponder the state of the world and the insatiable quest for wealth and power among so many people I bow before You again and again, just to thank You. Father, I am compelled to count my blessings instead of thinking about any perceived losses. I have never lost anything that You did not restore to me with something greater, nor has anyone who left me behind been anything less than a teacher from whom I learned so much, thank you for the lessons from which many blessings came in overflow after the pain. Father, it seems so many peoples’ moral compasses are broken, deception seems to be a way of life for them. Please, forgive them because they do not know or understand they will reap whatever they have sown.  I am thankful that Your Spirit is my guide and teacher who has interceded for me whenever I was lost for words or when I was overcome with grief. I continue this journey along the Path of Life joyfully, knowing You are my Sole Provider, in You, I live, I breathe, I move, and be all You created me to be for Your glory and never for the accolades of humankind. I am thankful that I am certain, it matters not what Humankind thinks of me, but what You think of me. I live for Your glory, not my own; be glorified now in me,  my Lord and Savior. Thank You, for keeping me in Your care. Hallelujah, amen!

Psalm 100:4-5 NIV: Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. Philippians 4:6-7 NIV: Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
