God Is Always Near, Seek Him

Abba Father, My God, My First Desire, and My Deliverer, I am here again, kneeling at the Mercy Seat, asking You Almighty God, in the name of Jesus Christ, for the forgiveness of all my sins, divine guidance, protection, and for mercy for me, my family, and all those for whom I pray. I am not asking this just for me and my family, or the ones who look to You, but for our oppressors, the wicked ones who are arrogant and abuse their authority. They hate us, and plot, plan, and scheme against us while they write more ruthless laws to justify their wrongdoings. Father, I ask You, in the name of Jesus Christ, awaken those who sleep to Your truth, “They will be caught in the evil they plan for others while they boast about their plans, policies, and desires while they enrich themselves and sow seeds of disunity.” Your word tells me, “Whatever a man sows, this and this only is what he will reap. Because the one who sows to his flesh, his sinful capacity, his worldliness, his disgraceful impulses, will reap from the flesh ruin and destruction, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.” Therefore, I ask You, O Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ, “Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap if we do not give in. So then, while we as individual believers have the opportunity, let us do good to all people; not only being helpful but also doing that which promotes their spiritual well-being.” Father, I am confident Your word is true, it gives life, and hope, it does not change, and it never returns without fulfilling its purpose. Therefore, I am hopeful and at peace knowing You will provide a means of escape, You will protect us, You will defeat our enemies, and You will deal with those who hunt and crush the helpless. Father, it seems as if they think You are not watching and You do not care or You have closed Your eyes and You do not see what they are doing…help us, Lord, please deliver us from evil and evil-doers. Arise, O Lord, You are the King forever, You reign, and You have not forgotten us; You are as close to us as our breath. Father, I continue this journey called life in the name of Jesus Christ, with the assurance that You care for us, even though they plan evil against us, and they devise mischief, they will not succeed. I am thankful You see the violence; You will cut off their flattering lips and silence their boastful lying tongues because You hear the groanings of those whom they are against. Hallelujah! Amen!

Psalm 37:1-5 ESV: Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers! For they will soon fade like the grass and wither like the green herb. Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act. 2 Thessalonians 3:1 ESV: But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.
