God Is My Peace, Jehovah Shalom

Our Father, My God, My Lord, Jehovah Shalom, who reigns on earth, the heavens, and the outer edges of the universe, I bow in Your presence to thank and praise You for being my peace. Father, I am thankful that You alone know what is in a person’s heart, because they speak of peace while war is in their hearts. I am acutely aware that the kind of peace humankind speaks of is full of empty promises, and false hopes, and bring temporary comfort. The peace that man gives is fleeting, and changes with circumstances and failed compromises. Some will sell their souls to obtain whatever they desire, please forgive them, then, open their eyes and understanding and bring them to the place of repentance. Please make them aware why their fixes are never lasting because they try to solve the problems of sin by feeding some people while others are malnourished, building wells while some die of thirst, regulating the markets while the rich get richer, and others get poorer. They speak of the conservation of the land and wildlife while some hunt for pleasure and misuse the earth's resources for profit with no regard for the good of the earth and all humanity. They fund charter schools while so many children are left behind, and they speak of social and economic equality when the system favors a select few. Lord, they continue destroying public housing and making families homeless, while building shelters and more for-profit jail houses to house some of the marginalized and criminals. I realize sin and deception are the root causes of all the problems in the world today, even though so many people may deny it and do not take into account the issues of life, and how they try to cover them up with blame and shame. But, Father, I am thankful that the peace that You give is the lasting peace that only You can give. You are the only one who can be trusted to keep Your Word. You give joy and peace to the poorest of the poor, and You save our souls from eternal death. Thank You for being the Promise Keeper, the source of all sustained peace, the only one who keeps us through every storm...physical and spiritual. Thank you, for keeping Your Word, for hearing and answering my prayers and decrees. Thank You for opening my eyes and understanding and for giving me the wisdom to know the truth of the matter of peace. Men wage wars claiming they are protecting peace, but when the truth is revealed, they always have a hidden agenda. Therefore, their false peace is not the peace that is offered by “The Prince of Peace.” Thank You for divine peace that is built on the secured foundation of Your Word. Hallelujah! Amen! In Jesus Christ’s name. So it is! Isaiah 54:10 ESV: For the mountains may depart and the hills are removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed, says the LORD, who has compassion for you. Ephesians 2:13-16 ESV: But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility. Grand Rising, Good Morning, Everyone! Please remember, “He himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility.” “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Trust God to provide, protect your life, prosper you, and grant you peace!
