God’s Promises And Rainbows

Abba Father, El Elyon, The Most High And Powerful God who is the Promise Keeper who cannot fail and is ever-present. I look to You, Almighty God with steadfast confidence that You are the eternal Covenant Keeping God who is most merciful and unfailing. Whenever I see a rainbow in the sky, I realize it may mean many things to many people, but the truth of the matter is, the rainbow is a seal and reminder of the promise that You made regarding the flood that destroyed almost everyone and everything, but a select few. As I meditate and stand on every promise You and Your Son have ever made to humanity, my heart is at peace. Father, I ponder the state of the world today, I am reminded just how fragile life is, and You are still in control even though life is filled with so much bad news, fear-mongering, violence, tragedies, suffering, pain, losses, and so many storms of many kinds, and floods, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and wars. I often think about the promise You first made to Noah about us, the earth, and all living things so long ago. Father, I cannot help but think about those in high places who are supposed to be stewards of the earth and its resources, all their deception, and their quest for power, how nothing is too low for them to do or say to enrich themselves and their cohorts. Father, please let us always remember the rainbow and every promise that has been made to humanity. I understand You did not promise that we will never experience storms of every kind, but You did promise You will be with us during the storms, and never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. Father, I ask You, in the name of Jesus Christ, just as the sun shines through the rain to create the beautiful rainbows, please shine through our circumstances, and show us Your majesty and glory in the midst of every storm, every tragedy, all the suffering and pain. Let us remember that You are greater than them all, and we are never alone. Hallelujah! Amen, and so it is and will always be for Your glory, and our good! Genesis 9:13-16 NLT: I have placed my rainbow in the clouds. It is the sign of my covenant with you and with all the earth. When I send clouds over the earth, the rainbow will appear in the clouds, and I will remember my covenant with you and with all living creatures. Never again will the floodwaters destroy all life. When I see the rainbow in the clouds, I will remember the eternal covenant between God and every living creature on earth.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 NLT: Then, if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. Romans 10:9-11 NLT: If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.” Grand Rising, Good Morning Everyone! Please Remember, “The rainbow keeps on reminding us of God’s covenant to never destroy all life with a flood again. When we face the hardest challenges and storms in life, and find ourselves in the midst of unexpected battles, and wonder if there is an end in sight, think about the rainbow and let the rainbow remind us that God remembers us, loves us, and will always be faithful to save us when we call upon him.
