Guard Your Heart And Mind
Guard Your Heart And Mind
Our Father, My God, I rise to this day with an acute awareness of the importance of guarding Your heart and mind. Your Word tells us to guard our heart and mind, for everything we do flows from it. We are warned to keep above all keeping. So, above ALL we guard our relationship with You first, our lives, our relationships with humankind, our family, our finances, and during the times in which we live, our passwords, our cars, and our home. We are to guard our hearts with more vigilance than anything else, help us, please to be more mindful, prayerful, and vigilant. Father, I realize we need to be conscious of the fact, of and through the power of Christ within us, to which enters and dwells in our hearts by way of our minds. Not only does Christ enter within us, but so does the devil if we do not resist him. Father, I ask You, in the name of Jesus Christ, let us be on high alert about the impact of what we do and say, what we listen to, and what we watch that the world calls entertainment and education because, over time, the understated influence that the world uses infiltrates our thoughts and actions to form the status of our hearts. Father, our minds are fed by what we hear, see, and read like food feeds our natural bodies. Father, I ask You, in the name of Jesus Christ, to awaken those who sleep to the truth; our minds, souls, spirits, complete emotional nature, moral compasses, and understanding are affected and infected by what we allow our eyes, ears, and thoughts to take in. Our hearts and minds, our ears, and our understanding are the battlegrounds on which the enemy uses to destroy and weaken those who are easy prey systematically. The heart and mind are the primary venues for the infiltration and destruction of our souls evidenced by such bad behaviors as justifying adultery, oppression and suppression of the truth, hatred, greed, lust of every kind, mischief, joking that hurt others, pride, and rebellion which includes neutral such as desires, doubts, fear, gladness, love, obedience, and sorrow. So, Father, I ask You in the name of Jesus Christ, please keep me in Your care, not only do I ask You to do this for me, but I ask You to do it for my family, and my loved ones. I also ask for those I encounter along the Path of life, let them be forever changed, and come to seek and serve You the remaining days of their lives. Let them shake the ways of the world off like dirt and filth on their feet and shoes. Thank You, for hearing and answering my prayers. Hallelujah! Amen!
Isaiah 53:4-5 NIV: Surely, he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds, we are healed. Ezekiel 36:26 NIV: I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

FYI: Prayer is free. So was the word of God until man transcribed it from the scrolls putting their own twist on it, then it became for sale; this displeases God. We do know right from wrong whether we do it or not, God put it in our hearts before we were born. Please share with those who are open to receiving the word of our Lord and Savior, the way of salvation, and all of God’s blessings. Sunday, December 3, 2023.
