If The Lord Wills, We Live
Abba Father, My God Who Gives Life, My First Desire, I am here in the place where we meet constantly to seek Your will for me today. Father, what am I to do and say? Where am I to go? I am acutely aware my life and time are in Your hand, and You created me on purpose with purpose. So, I ask You, Lord, to speak to me. Please, lead me, guide me, and show me the path I am to walk this day as You teach me along the way. I understand You have given me the liberty to choose if I will be obedient and serve You or stumble through my life making poor choices and miss living with You after this life is over. Father, I am here, waiting to hear from You to empower me and guide me by Your Spirit, so, everything I do and say aligns with Your plan and will. Father, let me never be so arrogant as to say what I am going to do the next moment or day because I know that time is not promised. You are in control of the number of days that we live and when we die…teach me to live mindfully, so teach us to number our days, that we may present a heart of wisdom. Hear my prayer, return, O LORD! How long will it be? Please have compassion and mercy on me and all those for whom I pray. The truth is my life is like a vapor, You are sovereign, You govern the length of my days and all my achievements; I can do nothing without You, Your grace and tender mercy. As I ponder the state of the world, I am more aware of how fragile life is, here at this moment, and for some, before that very moment ends, they are gone from this realm. Therefore, I ask in the name of Jesus Christ, Lord, let me live the remainder of my life purpose-driven, with wisdom always seeking to do the things You created me to do for Your glory because in You, I live, I breathe, I move and be all You created me to do with compassion, joy, and love for You and humanity. Please give me, the determination, strength, and power to do whatever I do with all my strength and power joyfully; because there is no work, nor devices, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, so, let Your plan and purpose be complete while I live so my living is not in vain, in Jesus Christ’s name I ask all things. Let me always love others, care for the poor, and live my life in such a way that I point to the power of the gospel. Hallelujah! Amen!
Hebrews 10:35-39 ESV: Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised. For, “Yet a little while, and the coming one will come and will not delay, but my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.” But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls.
Grand Rising Everyone! Please Remember, “When we choose to pray continually, we are realigning our thinking and our priorities with the will of God for the day and our lives.” God's will for your life includes each moment you live and everything You do and say. He cares how you spend your time, where you go, the company you keep and the things you do, He knows about your situations. God's power and his joy come into our lives when we deliberately and willingly put him first, spend consistent time in His presence, and trust His perfect will shall be done. Love God above everything and everyone, and love all people as much as you love yourself. Love God with your whole heart, and love all people like God loves them. Abundant blessings!
