Let Go Of Every Weight, Be Silent
Let Go Of Every Weight, Be Silent
Our Father, My God, I rise to this day with gratitude and praise, thanking You for Your presence and the privilege to meet You in this place of solitude and peace. I am here in this place by the still waters in green pastures, to be strengthened, transformed, fortified, and for my soul to be made right in Your sight and by Your Spirit. Father, I am thankful that You are showing me how to abide in You with compassion, kindness, gentleness, integrity, wisdom, and mindfulness.
Father, I will never take for granted the intimate time I spend in stillness with You. I am acutely aware that in this place, all the noises from the world are silenced, then, I can feel You move in me, doing a work in me as You teach me how to live according to Your word and will. I realize it is during this time that You do a deep work in me, I find healing for my body, my mind, and my spirit because I feel well-rested, informed, and renewed. In this place, I leave all my cares behind, there is silence, comfort, and peace; only You and I are there; I bask in Your glory. I confess You alone are God, the Creator of all that was, all that is, and will ever be. Father, there is no one else like you, who is faithful and loving, who knows all, sees all, is always everywhere at the same time, and is in absolute control. You are the center of my joy; You grant me the peace that surpasses all understanding. You are most powerful; nothing is too hard for You. O Lord, my God, my soul waits for You, I choose to stand on Your promise to fight for me, and I only need to be silent. Father, in the world, there seems to be a constant quest and yearning for the very things that create a void, the empty things, lifeless, dry temples of materialism, and consumerism, the things that global digital media cannot provide, but which only You can. Father, I continue this journey through life with the awareness that You are my supply, You are my daily bread, You are the bread from heaven and living water. I am thankful that You are feeding me; I eat and drink from Your hand under grace. Thank You for giving me all that I need and desire and so much more; You are the way to eternal peace and life. Hallelujah, Amen!
Colossians 3:3-7 ESV: For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. On account of these the wrath of God is coming. In these you too once walked, when you were living in them.
Grand Rising! Good Morning to you on this blessed day. Please remember, The spirit is indeed willing, but the flesh is weak. Preparing a place for the person and the presence of Jesus Christ happens within our hearts when we spend intimate time with love in stillness and we study the Word. The Lord desires You to dwell in His peace and rest, knowing that He is God. This is where striving ends and humility and peace begin. In this place, we are forced to look at and reckon with our own tendency to meddle and control our environment. We exchange our inability for His Omnipotent Power and Authority. Never forget, that a humble heart before God is one that is completely surrendered to His Will and purpose despite personal desires, thoughts, wants, or aspirations. Abundant blessings and have an amazing day!
FYI: Prayer is free. So was the word of God until man transcribed it from the scrolls putting their own twist on it, then it became for sale; this displeases God. We do know right from wrong whether we do it or not, God put it in our hearts before we were born. Please share with those who are open to receiving the word of our Lord and Savior, the way of salvation, and all of God’s blessings. Monday, October 9, 2023.
