Living In Tuned With God’s Will

Father, My God, In You I put my trust, You are my Creator, my refuge, my strength, my hope, and my peace; it is Your face and will I seek. I rise to this day with expectancy, gratitude, and praise, seeking Your face and will this day, in the name of Jesus Christ. What am I to do this day? Father, I ask You, to lead me, guide me, direct me, and protect me while I walk the Path of life mindfully, loving as You love, forgiving as I have been forgiven, being truthful and compassionate; never thinking more highly of myself than I ought to because You created everyone and everything to live in harmony. I am acutely aware that we are to love You first, then love our neighbor as we love ourselves. I know nothing is hidden from You. You know my heart and intentions; in truth, You know me better than I know myself. So, I ask You to search me, Lord, if You find anything in me that prevents me from living with integrity, and loving You and others as You created me to do, I ask You in the name of Jesus Christ, to eradicate it…then forgive me, so I can do Your will. Father, I am aware that an intention is a directed impulse of my consciousness that contains the seed form of that which I aim to do in Your name. I ask You, O Lord, let my thoughts and actions align with Your will and purpose for my life, so my living is not in vain. Before I do it, let me always consider the cost of what I do because I have always been told that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Therefore, Father, I ask You to let me do whatever is right in Your sight because I know that one who plans to do evil is a schemer. Lord, I know you see the wickedness of some humankind is great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of their hearts is only evil continually…have mercy on us, Lord, and help us. I know we are not to trust in our minds, but we are to live by Your Word. There are times when good intentions lead to bad decisions and sin... I am thankful for the gift of forgiveness when we repent. Father, I ask You in the name of Jesus Christ, let me be a doer of the word because it is written: “we must all stand before Christ to be judged. We will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in this earthly body, and You take no bribes and our position on earth does not matter.” Lord, let me be mindful. Hallelujah! Amen! Galatians 6:7ESV: Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. James 1:21-23 ESV: Therefore, put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. Be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror.
