Lord, Fill Us With Love For Humanity And The Earth

Abba Father, The God Who Created All That Is And Will Ever Be, My Sustainer, I am here in our Most Sacred Place with my concerns about the state of humanity…the lack of love and reverence for You and all You created. There are so many man-made atrocities: slayings made easy, terrorist attacks, senseless wars, homelessness, parents murdering their children and children murdering their parents, the rogue killing of innocent people just because they can, people killing people they are supposed to be caring for in healthcare facilities, the assassination of character with blatant lies to accomplish a certain outcome, over taxation of the poor and working class, and the list could go on and on. I am acutely aware all of this is happening because we are living in a fallen world, but I ask You O Lord, please show me how to make a difference… the condition of the entire world today seems worse than Sodom and Gomorrah, the notoriously sinful cities destroyed by “sulfur and fire” because of their wickedness. According to Your Word they were destroyed for the principal reasons of same-gender relationships and other transgressions, such as the act of inhospitable behavior towards visitors, the act of sexual assault, murder, theft, adultery, idolatry, power abuses, or prideful and mocking behavior…please, redeem us, after all, You created everything and everyone. Father, I am certain You see, and You know all about these things I am laying here before You. It seems so many have turned away from You and aligned themselves with the enemy and his cohorts. They are swift to shed blood, oppress others, and do anything they deem necessary to obtain their goals. Their mouths are full of bitterness, cussing, and hatred…there seems to be no fear of You. They depend on their positions of power and wealth. Father, I ask You in the name of Jesus Christ, let us always revere You first, then fill us with love and compassion for humanity and the earth. Drive out all the darkness in the hearts of humankind as we confess our sins with the assurance You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I pray that we may be forever glorified in You through the cross. As we continue this journey called life, in the name of Jesus Christ, let us see others with divine love and compassion with the intent of helping others cast off the influences of sin by the power of love. Hallelujah! Amen!

For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being, but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members.

That is why believers can have hope in the face of tragedies. Be careful who you follow.” It has been said, “More inhumanity has been done by man himself than any other natural causes. God hears the cries of the innocent blood screaming from the earth. Have a glorious, victorious day in the Lord! Amen, believe it, and so it is!
