Lord, I Cannot Thank You Enough
Abba Father, My God, My First Desire, And Lord of My Life, and Keeper of My Soul, I rise to this day because You gave me the chance to live again, I cannot thank you enough for always keeping me, my family, my loved ones and all those for whom I pray. I am acutely aware of how blessed I am to have a Father who gave His only Son, Jesus my Savior who laid down His life and rose again, so I can have eternal life. I am thankful for the power and privilege of prayer and the chance to bask in Your glory as I spend time with You whenever I choose. I am thankful You allow me to bring all my cares and concerns to You along with the laundry list of challenges that I bring for others. I am thankful You are never too busy, nor do You grow weary of me coming to You with the issues of life, asking for solutions to the things that trouble me and all those for whom I pray and the state of the world. As I make a vain attempt to count my blessings, great and small, I realize they are too numerous to count. I am not talking about things that money buys, the blessings go on beyond food, shelter, clothing, or things that will surely perish. I am talking about my life now and for eternity, the air I breathe, being able to breathe and move, the lives and well-being of my family, the people I pray for daily, health and strength, healing of our bodies, clarity of mind, discernment and being able to perform the activities of daily living and so many other things we may take for granted until you can no longer do those things or just be at peace within and out. Father, awaken those who have forgotten how blessed we are to be here to thank You for all that is given to us under grace, to lift our hands and voices to praise and worship You while we have the time. Let me remember to rejoice always, and pray when things are going well and when I feel challenged. Empower me to be thankful for every lesson and blessing; for this is Your will in Christ Jesus for those of us who are Your children. So, I continue this journey called life, knowing no matter how many times I thank You, for all You keep doing for us, it is never enough gratitude for Your grace and tender mercy, Your provision and protection, and peace during the most trying time. Father, I may not know how You are going to do the things I asked of You, but I am confident that You will do whatever You know is for my highest and greatest good, and for this, I say Thank You. Hallelujah! Amen!
Psalm 103:1-5 ESV: Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagles. 1 Thessalonians 5:15-18 ESV: See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Grand Rising Everyone! Please Remember, “Devote yourself to prayer, always being watchful with gratitude.” Let your soul be anchored in the Lord, so, your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him, the sure foundation. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. Abundant blessings! Have an awesome weekend!
