Lord, Let There Be Peace And Truth

Our Father, Jehovah Shalom…You are my peace, I rise to this day with the awareness that You are above everything and everyone; You are the Sovereign, Majestic Preeminent, God that sits high and looks low…nothing is hidden from You. Father, we are living in times when a select few will cause our world to crumble for their own selfish means. I am here, Lord with my face to the wall, asking You to deliver us from evil and evil-doers. Father, I ask You, the Lord of lords to help us, deliver us, and keep us in Your care. There are those who constantly utter lies to everyone; with flattering lips and double hearts… they speak of peace when war is in their hearts. They are constantly using divisive, inflammatory words to incite division and hatred to deceive, kill, and destroy. Father, I believe You alone, the Great Physician who heals people's hearts and You can heal our land. I am certain that no one but You can bring everything into balance, making us healthy, whole, and complete with integrity. I am thankful You alone know what is best for me, therefore I look to You, the God of comfort, peace, and truth; knowing that I can always turn to You in times like these when it seems like the whole world is in an uproar and they war against everything and everyone. I am thankful that You alone are the Lord, who reigns over a vast well-ordered host in the heavenlies. I am thankful that You are always there to defend us, to fight our battles, and win our wars against those who think they are most powerful…there is no enemy You cannot defeat, therefore I am at peace and full of hope as I continue this journey called life with my hand in Your hand. I ask You, O Lord, in the name of Jesus, please do not sweep my soul away with sinners, nor my life with bloodthirsty men and women, in whose hands are evil devices and whose hands are full of bribes. Please let me walk in integrity, redeem me, and be gracious to me and all those for whom I pray. Please place our feet on level ground and guide us by Your Spirit as we walk by faith and not by sight; always doing whatever we do in Your name and for Your glory. Hallelujah! Amen! Malachi 3:16-18ESV: Then those who feared the LORD spoke with one another. The LORD paid attention and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared the LORD and esteemed his name. “They shall be mine, says the LORD of hosts, in the day when I make up my treasured possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his son who serves him. Then once more you shall see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve him. Matthew 25:32-34 ESV: Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on his left. Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
