Lord, Please Hold Me Close As You Guide Me

Our Father, My Lord, And Master, the only One in whom I trust no matter what the next moment brings because You alone know the plans You have for me this moment, this day, and my life. I rise to this day humbled by Your Presence with gratitude and praise to worship You with my whole heart because You are the Lord of my life…I love and trust You completely. Father, What am I to do this day for Your glory? Please, speak to me Holy Spirit as You lead me, guide me, direct me and order my steps according to Your Word. Father, please let my will align with Your will and plan for my life; my living is not in vain. I ask You, Father, let Your light shine on me, in me, and through me. Lord, please hold me close as You guide me along the Path of Life. You alone know what lies ahead in the darkness, and light dwells with You. In You, I am safe because You are my light and my salvation, my refuge, my strength, and my fortress. Therefore, I have fearless faith when the wicked come against me to destroy me, they stumble and fall because no weapon formed against me can succeed because You have me in the palm of Your hand. When it seems like there is no way out, I look to You with the assurance that You are my Father, and all power is in Your hands, and no one can take me out of your hand. I am confident there is no one greater than You because You are the Lord of Hosts who is in charge of vast armies in the heavenlies whom no one and nothing can defeat. Father, Your word assured me, “If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.” Therefore, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies…for this, I am thankful and at peace. I continue this journey called life in the name of Jesus Christ, with the acute awareness that You are as close to me and all who look to You as our breath and a whispered, with gratitude and praise. Hallelujah! Amen!

Psalm 16:11;73:23 ESV: You make known to me the path of life; in your presence, there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Nevertheless, I am continually with you; you hold my right hand. 1 Peter 5:6-8 ESV: Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
