Make The Most Of Your Time

Abba Father, My God, The Ancient of Days, the only One who holds our times in Your hand, I rise to this day thanking and praising You for the Gift of Life and the chance to begin again in You. What is Your will and plan for my life today; whatever it is, let it be done in me and through me. Please open my eyes, my ears, my mind, and my heart so I receive all that You have in store for me with thanksgiving…every lesson and every blessing under grace and in Your time and season. Empower me, strengthen me, and give me the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to walk the Path of Life according to Your Word and plan for my life and the good of humanity. Father, I ask You, in the name of Christ Jesus, let me make the most of the time You have given me. Keep me on the Path of Righteousness, so I do not waste one moment saying or doing things that are out of alignment with Your Will. Father, You have set eternity in our hearts, therefore, I ask You, in the name of Christ Jesus, to teach me to live mindfully, so I may gain a heart of wisdom filled with love and compassion. I am acutely aware that I will have to stand before You to give an account of everything I have, or have not done while I live. I realize the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few and time is flying. Let us spend more time loving one another in deeds and truth. Remind those who have forgotten and enlighten those who do not know the eternal value of spending time with You. Let us always have our priorities right and never lose focus and get swallowed up by the mundane things of this world that will perish or the things we will leave behind. Let me always do my best and give my best at all times, never forgetting to rest because with proper rest comes enlightenment and power. I continue this journey called life in the name of Christ Jesus, knowing that the responsibilities and pressures of this world are very distracting and oftentimes can cause one to stray; but I ask You, O Lord, please hold me close. Please keep Your hand on me and let me follow the Path of Life set before me with Your Spirit as my compass, my guide, and my teacher for Your glory. I ask this, not just for myself, but for all those for whom I pray. Hallelujah! Amen!

Psalm 39:4–5: ESV “O LORD, make me know my end and what is the measure of my days; let me know how fleeting I am! Behold, you have made my days a few handbreadths, and my lifetime is as nothing before you. Surely all mankind stands as a mere breath! James 4:13-15 ESV: Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”, yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.”

If it does not glorify God, then it is not for your good or the good of humanity and the earth. Focus on that which is eternal, instead of the things that are pleasurable in this passing world. The hating must cease. Move forward with due diligence and live in divine love. Let nothing and no one cause you to hate. Hate and greed fuels all the violence in the world and pave the path to hell.
