No One Can Serve Two Masters

Abba Father, My God, I rise to this day with a repentant heart committed to You. Father, I ask You in the name of Jesus Christ to let Your Spirit work in me and through me so all that I do and say aligns with Your will and purpose for my life, the good of humanity, the earth, and Your glory. Let me always live in love with compassion, humility, and integrity. Father, You alone sit on the throne in my heart and soul, my soul is anchored in You. You are all I need to survive and thrive, after all, You promised to supply all that I need and grant me the desires of my heart…I trust You to keep Your word. As I spend time in the Word, I am reminded that if my eyes are bad, my whole body will be full of darkness and if I am a slave to sin, I would not feel any obligation to righteousness. No one can serve two masters: Either he or she will hate one and love the other, or will be devoted to one and despise the other. Therefore, I realize we cannot walk in the light and live in darkness, nor can we serve You and money. We must choose whom we will serve because we cannot hate anyone or anything and love You, Almighty God. I am acutely aware that if I strive to please humankind, I am not a servant of Christ Jesus. Father, I ask You to draw me closer to You and let Your Spirit be my guide and teacher always as I walk the Path of life each moment I live abiding in You. Father, I ask You in the name of Jesus Christ, please search me, purify me, sanctify me and all those for whom I pray, and make us holy because we are incapable of it on our own. I believe You alone are the Lord who Sanctifies us and fills us with more of Your Spirit. Please, let nothing and no one separate us from You and Your divine love. Thank You, Father, for purification and salvation… hallelujah, amen!

Psalm 45:7 NIV: You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore, God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy. Romans 6:16 ESV: Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness? James 4:4 NIV: You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.

Remember, Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. If serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve. Abundant blessings!
