Nothing Just Happens
Abba Father, My God in whom I trust, with all my heart and soul, I come into Your presence with a repentant heart overflowing with thanksgiving and praise with the acute awareness that nothing in all the universe just happens that is sustainable unless You allow it. I bow before You, seeking Your will and plan for my life because You are the Creator of all that is and will ever be. Lord, What am I to do this day? Where am I to go? Please, Lord, I ask You, in the name of Jesus Christ, to lead me and guide me by Your Spirit along the path I am to walk today safely. As I consider the enormous universe, I am certain that You have placed everything in its rightful place. So, I ask You to place me in the right place, at the right time so I can do all You created me to do; so that I am blessed to bless others along the way. I believe You are in control; therefore, things will be well with me, my family, my loved ones, and all those whose lives I touch in some way. Lord, God Almighty, I am certain You will show me the way, because I am asking You in the name of Jesus Christ, to order my steps, direct me, protect me, strengthen me, and make me more determined to be obedient to Your Will moment by moment as I go through this day and my life so I stay focused on You and Your Will and Word. Nothing is ever lost or a mystery to You, not even the laundry list of my cares and concerns that I bring to You constantly throughout each day in the name of Jesus Christ. I realize everything is about Your plan, Your will, and Your perfect timing, otherwise, things become uncoordinated, they fail, and they cause chaos if Your will is not sought. Lord, I belong to You, I am willing to walk the path that lies ahead being guided by Your Spirit to the end. I continue this journey through life in the name of Jesus Christ with the awareness that my first desire is to please You by doing Your Will, Therefore, I ask You in the name of Jesus Christ, to let my desires and plans align with Your plan and purpose for my life moment by moment because my life is not about me, my longings, or my timing. Thank You for hearing and answering my prayers. Hallelujah! Amen!
Psalm 37: 23-24; 119:33-35 ESV: The steps of a man are established by the Lord when he delights in his way; though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand. Teach me, O Lord, the way of your statutes; and I will keep it to the end. Give me understanding, that I may keep your law and observe it with my whole heart. Lead me in the path of your commandments, for I delight in it.
