Our Heart Reflects Our Character

Abba Father, You are Holy, You are Love and Loving, and Most Righteous and Just, my mouth will always tell of Your holiness, Your great unconditional love and goodness, and all Your mighty acts and Your strength; I will also tell of Your righteousness and truth that is Yours alone. As I look within and look without at the state of humanity and just how a select few have ravaged the earth and its resources, incited hate among the masses while they continuously enrich themselves only speaking half-truths while misusing Your word…my heart faints and my very soul trembles at the very thought of how You see the human race. I am acutely aware that the beating human heart is essential to life, when the heart stops beating…we are no more in this life. Therefore, while we are here on earth every choice we make, and everything we do flows out of what is in our hearts. Your word tells all who study or listen, “A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. Whatever we say flows from what is in our heart.” Father, I ask You, in the name of Jesus Christ, to search me because You know me and my ways, purify me, then create a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. I ask You, please, do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Let me walk the path that leads to eternal life. Father, there is a truth that lots of people do not necessarily want to acknowledge…it is that the hearts of men and women are evil. Many people like to champion the human heart and will even assume that most people have a good heart, however, Your word says something completely different. We all were sinful at birth because of the great fall. I am thankful that our hearts can be transformed by Your power if we choose the way of salvation through Your Son when He knocks at the door of our hearts. As I continue this journey called life in the name of Jesus Christ, let me always guard my heart so I do not entertain evil thoughts. Hallelujah! Amen!

Genesis 6:5 NIV: The LORD saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. Matthew 6:21; 15:19-20 NIV: For where your treasure is, there your heart will also be. For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. These are what defile a person, but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them.” Philippians 4:8 NIV: Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Grand Rising Everyone! Remember, “The heart is central to everything you do and more importantly it is a true reflection of who you are. Since the heart reflects what is inside you, if you do not like what you see on the outside then you must recognize that the problem is on the inside. When you change the heart, you will change the person. You cannot blame humanity for what is in your heart. No one can stop you from being a loving, kind, generous person. You are who you are no matter what you go through. Have a glorious, victorious day in the Lord! Amen, and so it is!
