Overcoming Distractions
Overcoming Distractions
Father, My God, In You I put my trust, You are my refuge, my strength, my hope, and my peace. I rise to this day with expectancy, gratitude, and praise, in the name of Jesus Christ, knowing no weapon formed against me will ever succeed. Father, I rise to this day asking You, O Lord to lead me, guide me, and show me the path I am to walk this day without fear or anxiety. Father, open my eyes and my understanding, so I can problem-solve each issue I encounter as Your Spirit speaks to me and teaches me how to do the things, I am to do in You by faith. Father, I ask You in the name of Jesus Christ, to empower me to stay focused, so that all the rhetoric and noises of the world do not cause distractions in my life. Let me always live by the word and the guidance of Your Spirit. I realize distractions from You are extremely dangerous, let me always do all that I do according to Your word. I am acutely aware that You are in charge of everything and everyone in all creation. As I ponder the state of our world today, it is evident that humankind has clearly forgotten to consult You before making decisions that impact everyone. Some people have been led in a direction that leads to fear-mongering, trials, sin, hatred, murdering, missed opportunities, inequities for many, oppression, disunity, and missed blessings. Father, so many people have become caught up in the world, making money and getting ahead that they have clearly forgotten You are our source. Therefore, I ask You to keep me in the palm of Your hand, so the noise of the world can never prevent me from hearing Your voice. I also ask You, please order my steps…let me always follow You so I am not consumed with the things that displease You. Father, I realize if the enemy cannot destroy a person, he will use distractions. So, I continue this journey called life with my hand in Your hand, knowing You are always with me, and You are my Shepherd, my Sole Provider, and the Keeper of my soul. Hallelujah! Amen!
Mark 4:17-19 ESV: And they have no root in themselves, but endure for a while; then, when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately they fall away. And others are the ones sown among thorns. They are those who hear the word, but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it proves unfruitful. Romans 12:2 ESV: Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Grand Rising Everyone, please remember, “Draw near to God and He will draw near to You. Keep praying and never forget to spend quality time with the Lord.” Never allow anything or anyone to cause you to stray away from the Lord. Do not let the noise of the world keep You from hearing the voice of the Lord. Have a glorious, victorious day in the Lord! Amen, and so it is!
