Praying In The Name Of Jesus Changes Things

Abba Father, My God, I rise to this day with gratitude and praise for the privilege to kneel humbly in Your presence, just to bask in Your glory at the start of the day. Let Your presence fill this place to overflow as You infiltrate and saturate me with more of what You know is necessary for me to do Your will as You guide me by Your Spirit. I am here, Lord, I yield myself to You to do with as You will, let it be done in me and through me always. Speak, Lord, Your servant, and child is listening and willing to do Your will. Lord, I know I have asked many things of You in the name of Jesus Christ, and I see You moving and answering my prayers and petitions, but my first priority is to please You, that is the longing of my soul. I am thankful for the power, strength, joy, and peace that You give to me to walk the Path of Life with integrity as I do the things You created me to do for Your glory. Empower me to do all that I do in Your name, under grace, never seeking accolades for myself because my life is not about me. Show me the way I am to go and instruct me, let me be obedient and do only that which is according to Your plan and harmony for my life, the lives of those whom I touch, and the lives of those whose lives touch mine. Father, I ask You, in the name of Jesus Christ, let Your presence fill this place I call home, my neighborhood, the schools, all the places where lawmakers create laws, and in the nations, far and near. O Lord, My Father, please enter into every place where those who do not believe, and the lawmakers have asked You to leave. Please, Lord, I also ask in the name of Jesus Christ, to touch the hearts and minds of those who do not know You, the ones that have turned from You, the ones that have done evil things in Your name, and the ones who blatantly misuse the authority You have given them. I am acutely aware that amazing things and miracles happen when I pray in Jesus Christ’s name. I stand on His promise to be with us, to never forsake us. I continue this journey called life with the certainty that You will hear and answer me when I call. Father, if I know not how to pray, then, I ask You, in the name of Jesus Christ, to let Your Spirit intercede for me. You know what is best. Hallelujah! Amen!

John 15:16; 16:23-24 NLT: You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. At that time, you won’t need to ask me for anything. I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and he will grant your request because you use my name. You haven’t done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy. James 4:1-3 NLT: What is causing the quarrels and fights among you? Don’t they come from the evil desires at war within you? You want what you don’t have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous of what others have, but you can’t get it, so you fight and wage war to take it away from them. Yet you don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it. And even when you ask, you don’t get it because your motives are all wrong, you want only what will give you pleasure.
