Reflect On Your Blessings and Trials

Abba Father, My God, whom I trust with my whole heart, mind, and soul, I rise to this day with gratitude and praise for the Gift of Life, counting my blessings and being thankful for every trial and test, and even being thankful for the storms. Your Word assures me that You can bless me abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all I need, I will flourish in every good work as I strive to do Your will.” Lord Jesus, I am acutely aware that counting my blessings involves a shift in my outlook on life at times. I must look at the glass as half full, instead of seeing it as half empty and be thankful for all that is given to me without grumbling. Father, I realize my thoughts are your thoughts, nor are my ways Your ways. Therefore, I am asking You in the name of Jesus Christ, help me to see the good in everyone and everything and align my will and ways with Yours. Father, I bow before You here in our Secret Place to worship and honor You for doing a new thing in my life, showing me how to walk the Path of Life filled with hope; always considering how You are blessing me, giving me a better future. I know for certain, that without the rain and the storms, there would be no new life. Therefore, I am thankful for every season in my life, knowing there is a blessing in the storms. I am here counting every lesson and blessing as I walk in freedom courageously, moving forward with my eyes on You. Lord, what am I to do on this day? Father, I ask You in the name of Jesus Christ, to let Your Spirit guide me and teach me more about You and Your ways because I desire to be more like You. Thank You, Lord, for being my Way-Maker, my Dragon Slayer, my Healer, my Joy, my Peace, my Comforter, and my Sole Provider, who always make a way when it seems like there are so many doors being closed and there is no way. It is during times like these when I come to You, knowing there is nothing too hard for You to do. I stand more firmly on the fact that You have a plan and purpose for my life, my family, my loved ones, humanity, and the earth especially when there seems to be no equity, justice, brotherly love, or truth in so many of those in positions of authority who have their agendas. I continue this journey through life in the name of Jesus Christ, counting my blessings, knowing there is a time and season for everything from grief to gladness. Hallelujah! Amen!

Psalm 103 NIV: Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
