Spiritual Blindness And Wickedness
Abba Father, El Elyon The Most High God, I rise to this day to praise and worship You and to thank you for all that is given to me under grace and in a perfect way, in the name of Jesus Christ, as I continue this journey called life. I am acutely aware people are lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than loving You Almighty God. They have the appearance of godliness, but they deny its power and follow their own mad schemes. Your word tells us to avoid such people, instead of following them blindly. There are those who creep into households and capture the minds of weak people, who are broken and without faith or hope, and lead them astray by various promises, always spreading lies and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth and making promises they will never keep because the truth is not in them. Father, I ask You, O Lord, to protect us and provide for us because it seems as if evil is flourishing, and wolves are masquerading as sheep; they have even deceived the elect among us. I am thankful that You are in control, and You will be with those who love and serve You through it all; because there are some dark days ahead of us. I am thankful You will never forsake us or leave us alone and You know every plan of the enemy. It seems like so many people in power have become ensnared by the same spirit of greed, hatred, and oppression that entered into Pharoah, Haman, Hitler, and all the wicked rulers down through the ages. You delivered Your people before and I know You are the Lord of Host, and You will deliver us again in Your own time. I continue this journey called life with the awareness that many are the plans of the wicked, but Your plan for humanity will succeed…I trust You, Lord in the name of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! Amen!
Psalm 9:15-19 NIV: The nations have fallen into the pit they have dug; their feet are caught in the net they have hidden. The LORD is known by his acts of justice; the wicked are ensnared by the work of their hands. The wicked go down to the realm of the dead, all the nations that forget God. But God will never forget the needy; the hope of the afflicted will never perish. Arise, LORD, do not let mortals triumph; let the nations be judged in your presence. 1 Peter 4:17-19 NIV: For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? And, “If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?” So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good. Grand Rising Everyone, please remember, “We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Have a glorious, victorious day in the Lord! Amen, believe it, and so it is!
