The Antidote For A Critical Spirit
The Antidote For A Critical Spirit
Abba Father, The Sovereign God, Jehovah Tsidkenu, The Lord of Our Righteousness, I rise to this day, humbled by Your Presence in my life. Father, I praise and thank You for giving me water from the Well-Spring of Life, for loving me and all those for whom I pray. Father, I also thank You for Your Spirit who teaches me how to let go of complaining and blaming others, and resenting and criticizing others, and judging others just to fit in a clique without remembering the dire consequences of judging others, gossiping, and hurting others with words from my mouth without first searching myself. Father, I am acutely aware there are times when we may think we are being insightful and doing the right thing for the good of humanity, but in truth we have unknowingly joined forces with the destroyer who unleashes the destructive power of criticism disguised as insight. Father, I ask You, in the name of Jesus Christ, please open our eyes and understanding, so we know who we are up against. Let us always be aware that Satan, the father of lies, seeks to make us believe that our opinions are harmless or beneficial and cannot hurt others. Father, I ask You, in the name of Jesus Christ, to bridle my tongue, keep me from passing judgment on anyone at any time, and keep me from putting a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of anyone.” I realize opinions can cause others to be hindered in their growth and development and spiritual enlightenment, therefore I continue this journey called life in the name of Jesus Christ, with Your Spirit as my guide and teacher, always pondering my words before I speak, knowing there are times when I must be silent. Grant me the wisdom to know when I must let go and move on, letting all bitterness, anger, wrath, and shouting be removed from me along with all malice. Infuse me with kindness and compassion, so I am forgiving, just, and loving. Thank You, Father, for allowing me to see myself in the mirror! I am humbled. Hallelujah, amen!
Proverbs 12:17-18 NIV: An honest witness tells the truth, but a false witness tells lies. The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. Matthew 7:3-5 NIV: “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
Grand Rising! Good Morning, Good Day to you on this blessed day. Remember, You have no excuse for being critical and hurting others with words from your mouth. Everyone who is resentful, always blaming others and judging others will be judged. When You pass judgment on others you are condemning yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things. We know that the judgment of God rightly falls on those who practice such things. Do you think those who judge others, yet do the same things will escape the judgment of God? Be mindful, because the judgment you pronounce on others, will be rendered to you, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Be humble and loving, and do not blame anyone for anything, when they know better, they will do better. Abundant blessings, have an amazing day! Never forget how good God is to you, always guiding you and providing for you…be thankful for His presence and for all that is given to you under grace.
FYI: Prayer is free. So was the word of God until man transcribed it from the scrolls putting their twist on it, then it became for sale; this displeases God. We do know right from wrong whether we do it or not, God put it in our hearts before we were born. Please share with those who are open to receiving the word of our Lord and Savior, the way of salvation, and all of God’s blessings.
