The Light In Darkness

Abba Father, My God, who created All that is and will ever be, and the Only One who is my Way-Maker, Chain-Breaker, My Light in Darkness, and my Sole Provider, I meet You once again in our Sacred Place to thank You for another chance to begin again with You as my Refuge. It is written that You, Almighty God created darkness and light and that You are light with no darkness in You. Jesus declared that He is the light of the world. He is the way, the truth, the light, and the way of salvation. Let me be a reflection of You and Your Son, and please lead me, guide me, and teach me by Your Spirit as I walk the Path of life holding Your most powerful hand. I ask You, Lord, please shine Your light in me and through me…please let me be a lighthouse in this dark world in which we live. I also ask You, LORD, let Your light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of Your glory displayed in the face of Christ Jesus, so, it is known to the world that we are Your children. Father, I ask this not just for myself, but I ask for all who look to You as their LORD and Savior. Let Your divine love and mercy overtake us and sustain us as we walk the Path of Life doing the things You created us to do for Your glory. Father, I am Your child, I am here, let me always be still and listen attentively for instructions. Let me be obedient to Your Word and Will, so my living is not in vain. I look not at the darkness in this world, instead, I choose to stay focused with my eyes on You. Father, I realize humankind has many plans that are wicked, divisive, oppressive, and riddled with hate, yet, I believe in Your time and season You will have Your way with them all. Every evil thing that they have done will return to them and their house unless they repent like the people of Nineveh. Therefore, I say to those who are our enemies, do not gloat over us. Though we have been oppressed and fallen, we shall rise again, though we going through some dark times, the LORD is our light, and we are children of light who will be as Our LORD and overcome the world and every snare of the evil one and his cohort under grace, in the name of Jesus Christ, empowered by the Spirit of God. Hallelujah! Amen, and so it is.

Isaiah 60:1-3 NIV: "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn. Daniel 12:3 NIV: Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. Matthew 5:16 NIV: In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
