The Way Of Righteousness And Justice

Abba Father, My God, The Lord of Our Righteousness who is the Just and Mighty One, the judge of all the earth, the helper of the fatherless, the Lawgiver who takes no bribes, nor do You favor the rich over the poor and disenfranchised. Father, I am thankful that You care for me, my family, my loved ones, and humanity. I rise to this day with a repentant heart overflowing with love, joy, and hope, with the awareness of Your presence and Your promises on which I stand with confidence that You are the Promise Keeper who cannot lie. I bow before Your Throne of Mercy asking You, in the name of Jesus Christ, to grant us justice and peace in this land where there are so many inequities. I ask You, Jehovah Tsidkenu, in the name of Jesus Christ, please defend the poor and the marginalized ones, the ones who seek justice and get none even though they are innocent, the ones who have no place to call home, the ones who are working for wages that do not afford them a home with adequate food and clothing with medical care for themselves and their families. It is written that You will faithfully give those who are our adversaries their reward. I am thankful that You are Righteous and Just, the Upright One who is the Light and Savior of the world who loves justice, hates robbery, and wrongdoing, and whom no one can deceive or bribe. Father, I continue this journey called life in the name of Jesus Christ, with confidence that You love righteousness and justice, and the earth is full of Your unfailing love even though it seems as if the righteous are forsaken and the evil ones and his cohorts have won. But I know that Your righteousness draws near speedily, Your salvation is on the way, and Your arm will bring justice to the nations. Those who love and serve You, and those who are broken-hearted and oppressed will look to You and wait in hope for righteousness and justice; realizing there are more with us than there are against us. Lord, please hold us close to You, let Your mercy sustain us, and guide us through Your Holy Spirit along the Path of Righteousness being just to everyone. Hallelujah! Amen!

Leviticus 19:15 NLT: Do not twist justice in legal matters by favoring the poor or being partial to the rich and powerful. Always judge people fairly. Deuteronomy 16:19-20 NLT: You must never twist justice or show partiality. Never accept a bribe, for bribes blind the eyes of the wise and corrupt the decisions of the godly. Let true justice prevail, so you may live and occupy the land that the LORD your God is giving you. Proverbs 29:7-10 NLT: The godly care about the rights of the poor; the wicked do not care at all. Mockers can get a whole town agitated, but the wise will calm anger. If a wise person takes a fool to court, there will be ranting and ridicule but no satisfaction. The bloodthirsty hate blameless people, but the upright seek to help them. Romans 12:19 NLT: Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, “I will take revenge; I will pay them back,” says the LORD.
