There Is A Great Falling Away From Faith In God

Our Father, My Lord And Master, I rise to this Day humbled by Your Presence with gratitude and praise to worship You with my whole heart. In You, I live, I breathe and do all You created me to do joyfully in spirit and in truth. I am here, Lord, waiting to hear from You, to be used by You this day; have Your way while You lead me, direct me, and keep me in Your care. Father, what do You say that I should do this day to glorify You? I am acutely aware that we are living in times when some people seem to be less interested in the truth, they only want their ears tickled. But Your word tells us, “Let no one in any way deceive or entrap you, for that day will not come unless the apostasy comes first [that is, the great rebellion, the abandonment of the faith by professed Christians], and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction [the Antichrist, the one who is destined to be destroyed], who opposes and exalts himself [so proudly and so insolently] above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he [actually enters and] takes his seat in the temple of God, publicly proclaiming that he himself is God. They have turned aside, and together they have become corrupt; there is seldomly no one who does good, not even one because they all have their own personal agendas. It is very apparent that during this time in which we are living many have fallen away and are betraying one another and hating one another, doing whatever it takes to deceive, oppress, and control the masses while they enrich themselves and a select few. So many people are placing their confidence and hope in humankind who will surely die and stand before the Judgment Seat where there will be no preferential treatment. They cannot even save themselves because salvation comes from You, Lord. Help us, please save us, bring those who have fallen away from faith in You back from the place where they have been scattered; so, they can live and abide in You. In Jesus Christ's name, I ask with gratitude and praise knowing Your will is always done. Hallelujah! Amen! Jeremiah 2:19 AMP: “Your own wickedness will discipline you, and your desertion of the faith will punish you. Know, therefore, that it is an evil and bitter thing for you to abandon (reject) the LORD your God, and for you to be indifferent to Me and dismiss the [reverent] fear of Me,” says the Lord GOD of hosts. 1 Timothy 4:1-3 AMP: But the Holy Spirit explicitly and unmistakably declares that in later times some will turn away from the faith, paying attention instead to deceitful and seductive spirits and doctrines of demons, misled by the hypocrisy of liars whose consciences are seared as with a branding iron leaving them incapable of ethical functioning, who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from certain kinds of foods which God has created to be gratefully shared by those who believe and have a clear knowledge of the truth. Remember, “Therefore, [let me warn you] beloved, knowing these things beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men [who distort doctrine] and fall from your own steadfastness [of mind, knowledge, truth, and faith], but grow [spiritually mature] in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
