Trust God To Defend And Deliver Us

Abba Father, El Olam, The Everlasting God, who exists beyond time and space, the only one who cares for me, my family, my loved ones, my neighbors, all those for whom I pray, humanity, and the earth. Father, I am at peace knowing You are not a mythological god, as some may think You are, but You always existed, even before You laid the foundations of the earth and hung the moon, the stars, and the planet in the skies. I believe You always will be and nothing we can ever encounter can change who are or alter Your power and great love for us. Father, thank You for sending the rain to wash away the pollution from the skies and to cleanse and dilute the toxins in the soil. I am thankful You know what we need and when we need it the most. I believe You always help us, especially when we listen and obey Your voice. As I observe the many wicked things happening in this country and in the world at large, I realize worrying will never change anything of civil and spiritual disobedience. There is so much hate and greed, the insatiable quest for power and control of territories, the thoughts of supremacy and violence everywhere; there seems to be no safe haven, not even in the sanctuaries. Hate, greed, and the determination of man to rule seemingly know no boundaries. Families are divided, houses of worship and the governments are divided, and the world at large is fractured along political lines by those whose interests are really for self-enrichment, and the people are too blind to see or understand their true intentions. Father, I come to You with my deepest concerns for all people and the earth. I am acutely aware no power on earth can change the destructive course that has been implemented by those in power, but You. Please help us and save us from the destruction of the enemy and all those who are aligned with him, wasting innocent blood and lives. Some speak of peace, but it is evident that war is in their hearts. So, I call out to You, LORD, asking You in the name of Jesus Christ, to fight for us, we are brothers and sisters no matter the color of our skin or where we live. Let Your heavenly host defeat our enemies. You promised good will win out over evil, and evil will be defeated, finally and completely. I am waiting for You to keep Your Word. So, I ask, Keep us, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; protect us from men of violence who plan to ensnare, oppress, and kill us. O LORD, I say to you, "You are our God." Hear, O LORD, my cry for mercy. Let the heads of those who surround us be covered with the trouble their lips have caused; in Jesus Christ's name, I pray, with expectancy of the fulfillment of every promise You have made. Hallelujah! Amen, and so it is now!

Deuteronomy 31:6 NLT: So, be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the LORD, your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.” 2 Thessalonians 3:2-3 NLT: Pray, too, that we will be rescued from wicked and evil people, for not everyone is a believer. But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.
