Trust God When You Are Going Through A Storm

Abba Father, My God, I rise to this day praising You and thanking You for the gift of life, being kept by You night and day. I am thankful for Your word on which I stand, in You I live, I move, I breathe, and be all You created me to be for Your glory. I am very aware I am here on this earth not to make a living as we are taught, but to love and abide in You because You promised to supply all my needs and to give me the desires of my heart from Your endless storehouse. After all, the earth and its fullness belong to You and there is no lack or failure in You. Your word tells me that You will never fail, therefore…I trust You alone to care for me, knowing You will use whomever You choose to fulfill Your promises. Father, I know I am never forsaken, So, I trust You through every challenge, every test, every sickness, and every storm. Oh, how my soul praises You, Lord. Even my spirit rejoices in You, knowing You are the Most High God, my Savior. I count my many blessings one by one with absolute confidence You have done great things for me, and You are continuously blessing me beyond what I can think or imagine. I also know, not only are You doing these great things for me, but You are also doing them for my family, my loved ones, and all those for whom I pray. Please open their eyes and understanding so they will be aware of every blessing and lesson You have given all of us under grace for our good and the good of those whose lives we touch in some way each day we live. Let us always take the time to count our blessings, great and small, and declare Your goodness, instead of grumbling about what we do not have at the moment. I am thankful that You know what I need and when I need it…You take notice of us and show mercy on us when we are in need or going through a trial or storm. I am acutely aware that You send storms into our lives, to get our attention, to mature us and draw us closer to You, to unify us, to build and restore us, and to get glory out of us. Storms and disasters have a way of bringing families and communities together, Lord, let us learn to be compassionate and kind each moment we live, not just during the storms. I continue this journey called life, living purpose-driven in the name of Jesus Christ for Your glory, Almighty God not for the accolades of humankind. Hallelujah! Amen!

Psalm 107:28-31 NIV: Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress. He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven. Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind. James 4:8 NIV: Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Focus on God, not Your circumstances, His plan is perfect, and in the end, meant for our good.” Have faith in the word of the Lord, and seek peace through Christ Jesus, He is our shelter, our strength, and our refuge.
