Trusting In Nothing But The Lord

Our Father, My God, Jehovah-Gibbor Milchamah (Mighty In Battle), I rise to this day with a repentant heart overflowing with gratitude, love, and praise to honor and worship You because You alone are the King of glory, and You are mighty in battle…You are in control of all creation, the earth, and the heavenlies. You created everything and everyone, the good, the bad, and what we perceive as the ugly. Your word tells me that You, O LORD made everything for its own purpose, even the wicked, according to their role for the day of evil. It also tells me, “Everyone who is proud and arrogant in heart is disgusting and exceedingly offensive to YOU; therefore, I am assured that the arrogant and proud will not go unpunished because this is Your Word.” I surrender every aspect of my life to You with the acute awareness there is nothing else to trust aside from You. I realize humankind has challenges and weaknesses of their own…they cannot do anything that is lasting unless You allow it. Even Satan’s power is limited by You, Your word tells me, “No temptation…regardless of its source will overtake or entice anyone that is not common to human experience, nor is any temptation unusual or beyond human resistance; but You, Almighty God are faithful to Your word. You are compassionate and trustworthy, and You will not let anyone be tempted beyond their ability to resist, but along with the temptation a person has in the past and is now, You always provide the way out as well, so that they will be able to endure it without yielding, and will overcome temptation with joy.” Lord, I am confident that nothing and no one can harm me at all unless permission is given by You. Therefore, I bring all my cares and concerns to You, O Lord in the name of Jesus Christ, knowing it is better to take refuge in You than to trust in man.” The Good News is: Your trust does not waver, while a person's trust can, as we are only human. Your Word tells me, “I must not allow my heart to be trouble, nor am I to be fearful because You order my steps, Your Spirit is always with me, You will prepare the way, and open doors that no man can close and close doors that no one can open.” I continue this journey called life with absolute confidence that You alone are God, Jesus Christ is seated at Your right hand and the Holy Spirit dwells in us and among us, Your word is alive and true, and there is nothing and no one else I can trust but You to care for me, my family, my loved ones and humanity. Hallelujah! Amen! Psalm 9:10-11 ESV: And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you. Sing praises to the LORD, who sits enthroned in Zion! Tell among the peoples his deeds! Galatians 6:3-7 ESV: For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. For each will have to bear his own load. Let the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches. Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. Grand Rising Everyone!
