Understand The Briefness Of Life

Abba Father, My God in whom I trust with all my heart, my mind, and my soul, I rise to this day asking You, in the name of Jesus Christ, Lord, help me, my family, my loved ones, and all those for whom I pray to understand the shortness of life. Empower us to let go of the ways of the world and stop aligning ourselves with wicked men and women, let the greed and malice cease. Time is of the utmost importance, and we must awake out of the stupor and sleep because our salvation and saving grace are nearer than we may think. Open our eyes and understanding, so that we look carefully at how we live. Let us walk the Path of Life not as unwise but with wisdom, making the best use of our time. Father, I am acutely aware that we do not know what will happen the next moment, the next hour, or day. Our lives are like a vapor, the morning dew that appears for a little time and then it vanishes. Father, I ask You in the name of Jesus Christ, please give us the wisdom to live and understand that everything we do must be done for Your glory and kingdom building. So, I ask You, let me do all that I do, never to be noticed or for accolades, or rewards from humankind for my talents and gifts. Father, I only seek to please You to serve You and be seen by You, teach me by Your Spirit how to do Your Will. I realize my life is not about me, I am here on this planet on purpose with purpose. Therefore, I ask You, in the name of Jesus Christ, let Your will be done in me and through me, so that the love of this world may never be found in my heart and mind. Father, please purify me, order my steps, and empower me to live with urgency knowing there will come a day when I must answer for every deed, for every word, and how I used my time and resources. O’ Father, please let me always seek You, and abide in Your presence, never doing anything without consulting You first, so that I am in Your will. Let me continue this Journey through life being guided and taught by Your Spirit, so I am not distracted or ensnared by ungodly things that may cause me to waste my time, my talents, my resources, or misuse my words. Let me always be humble, live a surrendered life, and remain loyal to You instead of a political party or the doctrines of humankind. All that I have, including my life, comes from You, let me use whatever I have wisely. Hallelujah! Amen!

Proverbs 1:28-29 NIV: “Then they will call to me, but I will not answer; they will look for me but will not find me, since they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear the Lord. Colossians 3:23-25 NIV: Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as if working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism.
